Press Release:
Gift Basket Classes Help Retailers Wrap Up More Profits
Nationally acclaimed gift basket designer teaches retailers how to get corporate orders and create designs that increase profits.
(PRWEB) February 24, 2005 -- Corporations are buying more gift baskets thanks to Costco and Wal-Mart. But traditional retailers cant compete with these warehouses by offering cookie cutter baskets. "They need to differentiate themselves with unique containers, personalized ribbon and superb service," says Flora Morris Brown, PhD. "Corporations look for gift baskets that make them stand out and keep their names before their clients."
Brown, owner of Gift Basket Business World, is a 14-year veteran in gift basket design and a national speaker for gift shows. Retailers attend her classes to improve their designs and accelerate their profits. She returns to JDW Distributors in Orange, CA this spring to offer two classes.
On Saturday, March 12, 2005 in The Anatomy of a Corporate Gift Basket Order, retailers will learn the essentials of capturing a corporate order. The $49 fee includes a handout and a copy of Floras report Great Stuff from the California Gift Show.
On Saturday, April 9, 2005, in Create Profitable Gift Baskets for Spring and Summer Sales designers will learn basic to advanced design techniques, bow making, and the most effective ways to capture spring and summer sales. In this make-and-take workshop the fee of $59 includes supplies and a handout.
Attendees at both classes have a chance to win $100 worth of supplies in a drawing to be held at the end of each class.
