Make a Gift Basket Emergency Kit for Hand Deliveries

If you will be hand-delivering gift baskets, especially during the holiday season, prepare for the occasional rip or tear by carrying a gift basket emergency kit in your vehicle. Here are the minimum contents of your kit:
1. A pair of sharp scissors
2. A roll of curling ribbon--neutral color
3. A tape dispenser with the 3" clear shipping tape
4. Attractive oval or rectangular gold or silver stickers
5. Glue dots or other a double-sided adhesive tape
6. A spare roll of cellophane.
If you have an adapter that will enable you to convert your cigarette lighter to an electrical outlet, you may also want to carry extra shrinkbags, a heat gun and glue gun.
When you load your vehicle, stabilize your gift baskets on all sides to avoid tip-overs. But with your kit in place you're prepared in case of such emergency.
